Min-Pins are Vicious!

Our little 2-year old Min-Pin named Hardy.  Adopted on Decemeber 2011 from SafeHaven Humane Society in Albany, Oregon.

Ladybugs are really the males

It's still manly.

Even though you have a ladybug crawling in your hair.

More secure lighting, shall we?

I decided it was time to take matters into my own hand and add a security light to the side of our rental house we are currently living in, here in the "valley" of Oregon.

Of course, I was born and raised here, but since the late 70s and early 80s, times have changed.  No more going to the car in the dark for us.

Solar-powered lighting was the best option to go with, so that way, since it is a rental we don't have to damage anything to provide lighting to our own safety.

This lighting system is easy to install, only draw back to the lighting is climbing on the roof to point the solar panel upward. But, after a few screws into the roofing panel and climbing down, it was worth it.

It lights the driveway with a bright LED lighting system and even when the power is out in our main house the security light will still be there to guarantee some lighting.

Now, if we could just get rid of the pine tree from hell on the side of the garage, we will be all set!

The satellite times, they are a changing

I have gotten into the Satellite radio craze and have had the same one for quite some time now.  The satellite I have was very well used, we took it on road trips and I would take it to work to listen while I was grinding parts at my job, but it was finally starting to break down, unfortunately.

Not just that, but the model I had was so old that the replacement parts for it, when things would break, were getting harder to find.  Mainly because they didn't make the same model anymore.

So, Shelly agreed with me that it was time for an upgrade.  Plus, the new one is a lot less bulky too.
Now on road trips and even at work it doesn't seem like a 1980 version boom box.
